Happy Halloween...

October is always a hoot. Some pics of the fun stuff we did together and of course HALLOWEEN!

This year we had superman (who hated costumes), a police man, and a ??? we aren't sure what Parx was-he just made something up :).

Pumpkin patch, hay rides, petting zoo, corn maze.... with our neighbors/kids best friends

The kids made their annual bats... and Max painted for the first time.
He did so good.....UNTIL....

he decided to paint himself instead of the paper

Pumpkin carving at a friends birthday party! No mess at our house this year....boooo ya

Parx first year carving the pumpkin all by himself

Costumes....
poor max/superman.  He despised costumes. He didn't like it if Ty or I wore one but he especially hated them on himself.  Here he is running away in horror

Good thing he is easily distracted by candy :).

Parx as A..... spy kid/ninja/swat force/whatever else he said that I can't remember

Flag Football

hmm...guess I should have taken more pictures. Parx played flag football and LOVED getting those flags. By the end of the season he had fun being the quarterback and a receiver/running back now and again too (he really only wanted to get flags at the beginning). He didn't even really care about losing every game but one :).  He says that once its tackle he is quitting. what a weirdo! But I LOVE MY WEIRDO! We had a blast watching him and he did REALLY good.

Parx and Bridger are the 2 farthest on the left... (practice)

Chewelah...say what?!?!

Our 1st hubby/wifey vacation with NO KIDS!  1st trip ever...that's right to CHEWELAH, WA. Its up by Spokane...we took our trailer to an RV park on a sweeeeeet golf course and actually got to enjoy a couple movies and sleeping in! We pulled in to deer in the campground and woke up to wild turkeys.
1st night: watched a movie. ok started a movie (we rolled in at 11:30pm) and fell asleep!

2nd day: woke up late...ate breakfast in the trailer, played 9 holes and headed to Spokane.  We did WAY too much shopping but had a blast eating out and shopping for each other (of course we shopped for the kids and brought them back surprises...we didn't totally forget they exist). We did the river walk also and just HAD SO MUCH FUN HOLDING HANDS! I didn't think hands free trips were possible anymore. diaper bag. baby. pushing stroller.......

3rd day: Ate breakfast at the clubhouse and 18 holes of golf (tried for 27 but after 18 it got pretty nasty). We took a nap and when we woke up it looked like it was clearing up so we went for a walk and played pine cone games...oh yes we did because what's more fun than that??  Tied 9-9 and it started pouring on us and we still had a pretty long run to the trailer! Then we went for a drive and checked out some camp sites... watched movies and went to bed.

4th day: Headed HOME! We missed the munchkins but had fun being alone for once!

A HUGE THANKS TO GRANDMA VICKIE AND PAPA SID FOR DRIVING ALL THE WAY TO MOSES LAKE AND HOLDING DOWN THE FORT! They even got adventurous enough to take the kids to the dinosaur exhibit in tri-cities (where max had to be held the entire time because he was so scared). They got Parx to his football game on time... they are just the best! WE LOVE YOU!
