NEW YEARS

These first few pics were closer to Christmas... we took the boys fishing IN THE SNOW! Brrr... the things we do for our kids. Actually, It was my idea this time. Fishing with dad is one of my favorite things too! We went to the Boise River about 5 minutes from the house... the fishing was pretty darn good.

Bye Bye Max... one day you'll be old enough to go. Until then you get some extra bonding time with Gramsy.

On our way to McCall for NEW YEARS. My parents rented a cabin and we went tube sledding, regular sledding, ice skating, took a sleigh ride through an elk herd, watched football, and played games all night. EVERYTHING was a BLAST...a vacation to remember. Parx kept thanking me for taking him on this super fun trip.

Ty got chewed out for bringing Max on the ice...he missed the giant RULES sign on his way in.

Christmas

Christmas 2014 was awesome. The kids LOVE every minute of Christmas time and they had some fun Christmas activities this year.  One of our faves was Parx's kindergarten Christmas concert...He was crazy excited for it.  We decided last minute to head to Boise for Christmas... we dreamt for months about having Christmas in our new house and then as it got closer and closer I REALLLLY wanted to spend it with family.  Luckily, Ty didn't mind at all and was totally on board with luggin all the gifts to Boise just to bring them back (annoying, fyi we already brought them from Boise to Moses Lake).  With Parx in school we decided it was important to take advantage of our breaks while they are young...
The kids got into the Spirit of Christmas better this year. It was precious listening to Parx tell the Christmas Story almost word for word (Bridger still struggles... he's easily distracted :)).

The boys must have been good this year...Santa left lots of presents. One day I hope they think we are as cool as Santa.

Parx's list..

Bridger's...

Parx is so independent...crafty...creative...smart (everything I thought my offspring wouldn't be :)). He wont let us help him with ANYTHING! He gets super frustrated if we try to help him with building something because he has what he's doing all planned out in his head.  He FINALLY let us help him a teeny bit structurally because his gingerbread house was a little wobbly.

 Christmas Eve SUPERHERO jammies...
I put blankies in the boys Christmas Eve box this year and when we untied Bridger's it turned into size XL Grinch pj pants hhaha... it still makes me laugh. whooooooops. He thought his "pants blankie" was AWEESSOOMMMEE and slept with them anyway.
