HALLOWEEEEEEN

HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEENNNN!!!!!!!!! My kids LOVE the holidays!! And I do too! We just had so much fun this month! Parx wanted to be Ninja Turtle (AGAIN... but what can ya do?!) and Bridger wore Parx's first costume... SUPER MAN!  Parx was 10ish or 11 months when he wore it and Bridge is 16 months.. fits them both the same! cracks me up!

Decorating with Grandma...

He is proud of his work :)

We made bats out of egg cartons one day and i think it's going to be a new tradition.. it was easy and kept the boys entertained for a LONG LONG time.

Look at this concentration.. When the tongue is out it is pure bliss!

Finished Product..

All hung up and ready for Halloween...

We made and decorated Halloween cookies twice... once out of a box my Grandma Taylor sent us..

And then we did Halloween sugar cookie cutouts... my person fav! And Ty's.. it's a real problem having them around our house...

Decorating them is a fun job too...

The boys did a great job!

Pumpkin Patch #1... Parx looks like he is about to crap his pants this pumpkin is so huge

Only pic I got of Bridge before my camera died...

lovely display once at home...

We took the kids to a straw maze.. games... and slide place! Biggest waste of money of our lives I think.. not to mention the freakin road trip to get there!!! SOO LAME! We were there for 20 minutes and then it got dark and they had NO LIGHTS.. NONE.. ZIP!!!! The pics might look cool but seriously this place blew! The slide went so fast that Parx would fly right off the end so Bridge couldn't do it!
Only decent pic of these two...

The best part of this place was picking out our pumpkins...

Only other pic i got of them semi looking in the same direction :) oh how i love these two!

The straw maze... the boys did have some fun in here but we were so tall we could see everything and everywhere we needed to go!

And of course Ty had just as much fun playing the homemade games haha we did get some good, easy, and cheap game ideas... i'm trying to look at the positives about this experience!

Carving our Pumpkins... WE SOO LOVE THIS! The boys painted two pumpkins and we carved three... Parx got to help with one this year!

He only tried to paint once... nasty!

He was so into this...there was deep concentration... If you can't tell it's a MUMMY!

I knocked out a ghost in about 2 minutes...

Not so bad if I say so myself!

HALLOWEEN NIGHT...(bridge looks like a real short fat kid in some of these pics... it makes me laugh cuz he is so scrawny)

In this pic.. he looks more like super-woman

My big handsome man!

On our way to trunk-or-treat

Bridge just sat right down with the ladies...

And this princess wanted a pic with superman!
After Parx got all his candy he had just as much fun handing the rest of ours out!

Parx with Ethan, Ali, and Benjamin!
Halloween 2012 was a definite success... I think one the best parts was that my Mom got to stay with us all of Halloween week and be here for the fun!!!!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU MOM!!!!!!

sweet sweet saucin!! And Project!

Last week Cort brought Teg and Burke to MOSES LAKE!!! It was soooooo fun... we love visitors! It went  WAY WAY WAY too fast and I wish they were on their way back to us right this second! Parx loves his friends and we definitely wore those kids out! Wednesday our day was filled with lots of applesaucin since neither of us knew what we were doing... it took us a bit to get the hang of things! I think we were fast learners though :) We did all of Cort's on Wednesday and all of mine on Thursday... total of 68 quarts! Boo ya! Thursday we took the kids to the sand dunes... i finally vacuumed my car out on Saturday and their was sand everywhere haha but it was fun and the kids got a sweet workout running up those hills! Ty came home early and took the kids to the park and we got to finish up the sauce and go to dinner... so we got in a little girls time too! WE MISS THE CAMBERLANGOS!!!!!!!!

Some pics of the visit...

Our ghetto setup since we don't have counters that actually hold applesaucers...

Cort gettin down and dirty... doesn't that applesauce just look bomb though?!?

awww ya...

And of course the final product and probably 100 burns later (you'd think we'd learn to not touch/taste the boiling apples)... 68 tasty jars of applesauce!

The kiddos did have a little quiet time here and there...

And parx did throw some of these...

Photo shoot down at the tracks by our house...

Buddies.. I love these kids friendship! And i just love ALL these kids!!

Poor Bridge just can't keep up..

But he's sure darn cute!!!

This might be why he can't keep up... why not sit and throw some rocks for awhile?!?

Brotherly Love!!!! You can tell Bridger really wants to hold Parx hand... NOT!

Now to our project that took like 4 months... sheesh its hard getting things done with kids around!! We decided to redo our table and it looked like this for a LONG LONG time... Since mid-June to be exact!

Eventually our chairs turned into this... but table still looked the same for probably 2 months

And booooom our table is finally finshed as of Saturday!!! And i might say that I really love it.. we wanted an older farm like look still but with some color! Thank you Papa Ben for letting us borrow your finish sprayer for last 4 months! It can now come home!

So for 2 days our kids got to eat on the picnic table inside and they thought that was pretty fun...  however, I did not think it was fun!  bridge climbed on top and threw his plates every 2 minutes... no fun! I prefer high chair and booster seat for these two crazies!
that sums up our last week... and we are all so excited for Halloween!!!!!! Parx is so in the Halloween Spirit right now and it is sooo fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fall 2012 RANDOMNESS

Here are some pics of our favorite orchard!! I love taking the kids to pick their own fruit and see where it comes from... Parx loves everything about picking fruit and the freedom of a huge orchard full of trees and grass!  He is sure an adventurous little fart! We also picked raspberries and blackberries this year too for jam!

This is my good friend Annette and owner of the orchard where we get all our fruit from!!! She was the first person i met in this town and I'm soo lucky to have her friendship! She looks like a natural up there huh?!?  Seriously.. this lady can pick some fruit! She picks like 10 times what i pick in the same amount of time!

Of course P man wanted some ladder time too :)

And why not climb the trees?!

The fam.. minus T man!

The new orchard kitty... it really is the cutest cat ever! Animals like Parx for about 2 seconds.. he loves on them way to much! Bridger is just as obsessed with animals... loves loves loves dogs!

These pics make me realize my little Bridger is just WAY TO BIG!!! He is a champion climber and his favorite spot is the bathroom :) climbs right into the sink whenever he notices the door open! And this is how... I didn't let him get as far as sitting the sink and drenching his clothes this time! oh and PS this first pic has got to be one of my all time favorites... HE IS SOOOO CUTE!

And this Big guy is growing up way to fast too!!!!! He was just sittin at the comp writing his daddy a "note" haha he is very very creative (and destructive)!!!!!! LOVE HIM!

Parx Pre-school!

Parx started preschool this week! He did "homework" all morning getting ready for his first day... He wants to go to a real elementary school soooo bad! Since Parx birthday falls in December he misses the cutoff for school next year- so we have two years before school starts for this big guy!  My friend Jennifer and I decided to do a home preschool for our kiddos once a week this year and are alternating houses.  They enjoyed school but were definitely anxious to get into the back yard and build an ant house haha cracks me up!
Just FYI: Parx caught probably 20 bees yesterday... freaks me out!!

ON OUR WAY TO PRESCHOOL...

PRESCHOOL ACTIVITY... HEIGHT: 43", WEIGHT: 42 LBS, FAVORITE FOOD: HOTDOGS, CHICKEN NUGGETS AND POPSICLES, AND FAVORITE TOY: MY T-REX DINOSAUR! HE PRETTY MUCH NAILED IT WITH ALL HIS FAVORITES :)

HIS FIRST SCHOOL WORK.. I LOVE LITTLE KID HANDWRITING!! HE CAN WRITE HIS NAME NOW AND IT CRACKS ME UP HOW HUGE ONE LETTER CAN BE AND THEN THE NEXT IS SO TINY I CAN HARDLY READ IT!

WAY TO GO PARX!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ROCK AT SCHOOL!!
