One...1...One....1

Max man is ONE! We had a little family bash since he had a nasty goopy eye and wasn't feeling on top of the world.  It was fun and he was pretty cute since all the attention was on him.

Parx says his favorite thing about Max is that he likes playing with balls
Bridger says his favorite thing is playing hide and seek

A little about Max...
First off..Stats:
height: 29.5 inches=36%
weight: 20 lb. 2 oz=31%
head: 47.6 cm(18.74 inches)=88%
He LOVES balls and can throw REALLY well. Great form and everything :)
He's a picky eater. One day he loves something and the next he hates it.
Loves throwing his food/sippy off his high chair
Eats way better if we put food on a fork or spoon
He has 4 teeth
He gives high fives
Loves bath time
He is a master crawler and can stand up in the middle of the room. Not walking.
He gives the sweetest open mouth kisses
He sleeps through the night (only since 2 weeks before he turned 1)
Loves his family. Everyone of us can make him smile and laugh
He is our crankiest kid times one thousand
His scream is PIERCING
He is held 70% of the time due to the piercing screams
He throws his head back and has tantrums already
Still loves the dog water/bowl
He's awesome on road trips and will probably be backwards facing till 2. If he could see me in the car I imagine him yelling and crying the entire time
Very curious and wants to do everything the boys do and go everywhere they go
Freaked out of heights.. doesn't love to be thrown in the air
He's iffy with strangers... love/hate thing
He's had probably 2 babysitters in his life and they had to carry him around everywhere they went. The second they would walk out of a room he would scream (they got a taste of my day to day :))
I nursed him for a WHOLE YEAR and still do maybe once a day but its ending fast.

We love our little fireball SOOO much.  Happy Birthday buddy!

Pics of max about 1-2 weeks before and after his birthday and of course the parrrttaayy..

See how sickly...

He sat on the stairs the majority of the time the older boys opened his presents :) We made him help with the balls and he loved them!

Parx made Max a "cube"... wondering what that is? well... its a cube.  Papers stuck together that stood up making a CUBE.  He drew a cute picture of Max and him on the front though!

NEW YEARS

These first few pics were closer to Christmas... we took the boys fishing IN THE SNOW! Brrr... the things we do for our kids. Actually, It was my idea this time. Fishing with dad is one of my favorite things too! We went to the Boise River about 5 minutes from the house... the fishing was pretty darn good.

Bye Bye Max... one day you'll be old enough to go. Until then you get some extra bonding time with Gramsy.

On our way to McCall for NEW YEARS. My parents rented a cabin and we went tube sledding, regular sledding, ice skating, took a sleigh ride through an elk herd, watched football, and played games all night. EVERYTHING was a BLAST...a vacation to remember. Parx kept thanking me for taking him on this super fun trip.

Ty got chewed out for bringing Max on the ice...he missed the giant RULES sign on his way in.

Christmas

Christmas 2014 was awesome. The kids LOVE every minute of Christmas time and they had some fun Christmas activities this year.  One of our faves was Parx's kindergarten Christmas concert...He was crazy excited for it.  We decided last minute to head to Boise for Christmas... we dreamt for months about having Christmas in our new house and then as it got closer and closer I REALLLLY wanted to spend it with family.  Luckily, Ty didn't mind at all and was totally on board with luggin all the gifts to Boise just to bring them back (annoying, fyi we already brought them from Boise to Moses Lake).  With Parx in school we decided it was important to take advantage of our breaks while they are young...
The kids got into the Spirit of Christmas better this year. It was precious listening to Parx tell the Christmas Story almost word for word (Bridger still struggles... he's easily distracted :)).

The boys must have been good this year...Santa left lots of presents. One day I hope they think we are as cool as Santa.

Parx's list..

Bridger's...

Parx is so independent...crafty...creative...smart (everything I thought my offspring wouldn't be :)). He wont let us help him with ANYTHING! He gets super frustrated if we try to help him with building something because he has what he's doing all planned out in his head.  He FINALLY let us help him a teeny bit structurally because his gingerbread house was a little wobbly.

 Santa cookies

 Christmas Eve SUPERHERO jammies...
I put blankies in the boys Christmas Eve box this year and when we untied Bridger's it turned into size XL Grinch pj pants hhaha... it still makes me laugh. whooooooops. He thought his "pants blankie" was AWEESSOOMMMEE and slept with them anyway.
