CAMPING!

Some girl friends and I took our kids on a mommy/kiddo camping trip to Ensign Ranch a few weeks ago and it was the first time the boys have slept in a tent outside and all in all it was a SUCCESS (I felt so brave taking them by myself :))! We seriously have such awesome friends in Moses Lake and that's probably half the reason we had so much fun! We went up Monday morning and came home Wednesday afternoon. We are already planning our next trip so we can take daddy back with us!!!!!  The boys love the outdoors and it's so fun making memories like this with them... they had SOOOOOOO much fun!

Our campsite was right on a creek that the kids played in a lot...

And of course this kid just wanted to catch fish with his net the whole time... there is a fish in that bottle! He's getting pretty good!

Rowdy and Travis took the boys on the canoe.. which of course they loved!

ANNDDDD we spent tons of time at the GIANT slip-n-slide!!!!!

would it be camping without bugs?? Not for these kids!!! They had like thirty grasshoppers in each water bottle! It was catch and release all night :)

Look how cute they are sleeping??? Bridger slept ALL NIGHT in his play-n-pack in the tent! He was the one I was nervous about... but, I WAS WRONG!! PARX WAS UP LIKE EVERY HALF HOUR!!!!!  The kid will not stay in a sleeping bag or under a zillion blankets... little fart made me cover him up all night just for him to kick the blankets off AGAIN and AGAIN. So we both froze all night... we are gonna come up with a new plan when Ty and I go back!

Vacation: LOGAN, UT...4TH OF JULY.BEAR LAKE.TAYAS BAPTISM

We took the fam on a LOOONNNGGG road trip to Logan, UT for our niece Taya's baptism.  Her baptism fell at the perfect time.. 4th of July weekend so we got to spend some extra days there! We rolled into Logan Wednesday night around 12:30 and got to stay till Sunday morning... it was such a fun long weekend.  We barely ever saw the kids.. they were usually outside chasing chickens or filling up water balloons.  The kids LOVE their cousins... we don't get to see them much but when we do they make it worth it!

We started off the vacation with the 4th of July Parade.. Logan's parade is sweet! They throw a ton of  candy, water bottles, otter pops...

The horses still make this guy nervous

And then there's this guy... he can't get enough of the action!

That night we watched the Logan fireworks on the lawn of their church.. they did tractor pull rides for the kids and had a bunch of goodies... this year the kids could care less about the fireworks.  All they needed were some glow sticks so make them happy! (oh and if Parx looks like he's on drugs he woke up with pink eye.. eye was totally gooped shut and super puffy)

They did get into the sparklers though however... glow sticks weren't cool enough to top those!

Bridger thought you were just supposed to blow them out.. freaked us out when he put that thing right next to his mouth! And with his blow skills that would have never happened!!

Day 2... BEAR LAKE! We left for Bear Lake around 830 am and got home around 6 or something. It was AWESOME... The best part is that the kids can seriously walk like 100 yards out and the water is only as deep to their belly buttons.  They played and played and played ALL DAY and loved every minute.  Ty and I loved it equally as much :)

Seriously, check out Parx WAY out there... the water is only to his knees!

This poor guy had double pink eye at this point and tried to catch a wasp nest... bad idea! He got stung in the cheek 3 times... the bug catching king didn't know what hit him!

Day 3... TAYAS BAPTISM.. THE MAIN EVENT! She was so pretty in her white dress and it was such a special day.. we are so grateful we could be there to celebrate with her!

Day 4.. ROAD TRIP ALL THE WAY TO MOSES LAKE... Took us 11 hours with our detours.  We stopped to see Vance and Jill Dill in Paul, ID on our way back... a much need reunion. WE LOVE THEM! Then we stopped in Boise to pick some things up I needed for camping... we got to Moses Lake at 10:30 pm and by the time we unpacked from that trip it was 11 and then we had to get the boys and me all packed to leave for camping the next morning... so it was a late night for us!

Bridger's 2nd Birthday

Our baby is 2! Bridger had such a fun birthday WEEK.  This boy is the sweetest kid... he still loves snuggles and being with his mama.  He has turned into a mamas boy lately and most of the time I just soak it up and LOVE IT.  He has really learned to roll with the punches and can finally stick up for himself with his brother :).  He LOVES water all of the sudden and just like his brother he LOVES the outdoors and everything that comes with it... bugs... dirt... bugs.... dirt. We wake up to him in the monitor singing us "Happy Birthday" every morning since his birthday... puts a smile on my face bright and early (and I am not a morning person).

Some things for my memory

Parx favorite thing about his brother is playing with him (says parx).
Favorite Food: YOGURT, hands down
Favorite person: right this second its mom.
If you ask him how old he is he says 6 every time... and if I tell him he's 2 he says 3 :)
Favorite place: water park
Favorite Toy: his scooter
Bridger (and Parx) are the worlds best road trippers... we did 11 hours last Sunday and not one cry

This boy is VERY shy if he doesn't know you... sometimes even if he knows you... usually only mom or dad can pick him up or hand him anything.  He wont let anyone unbuckle his car seat or get him out of his crib (kids that is)... just says, "No, Mom" and will freak if I don't do it. (this can be a pain).

He is obsessed with his blanky still... the poka dot one in the pic below is his ALL TIME FAV.

And he is nowhere near being potty trained... don't even want to attempt!

He can throw a mean tantrum... he has the look of death down but coming from Bridger it kinda just makes you laugh.

He grew from his last appointment... FINALLY.. still small but getting better!

20 % for weight
27% height
94% head
seriously, do my kids look in real life  as disproportionate as they look on paper? Ty gets all the blame for their oversized heads.

WE LOVE THIS BOY! So glad he is ours for eternity... We cannot wait to watch him continue to grow and learn.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY B MAN!

We woke him up with breakfast in bed... candles and everything.. it took him FOREVER to wake up!
homemade maple bars and strawberries..

We got happy meals and went to the park with friends... this is a big deal as my kids only get fast food when we travel.. THEY LOVED IT!

Best pic I had of his birthday boy shirt

After naps we had some sprinkler fun..

And the missionaries came over for his birthday dinner...

And Ty is caught on camera blowing bridgers candles out for him.. haha you'll know why if you watch the video at the end... HE IS SOOOO BAD at blowing candles! Cracks me up!

Grandma and Papa came the weekend after his birthday so we waited to celebrate with them.. Ty and Dad played in a golf tourney that weekend so it worked out perfect!! and they got 2nd place and won like 300 bucks.. dad got 1st in the all around something or other and won the green jacket that was like 10 sizes too small haha wish so bad I had a pic!

He got spoiled with presents!

I already know i'm not the most creative person.. but for me... this cake turned out pretty cute!
