Christmas 2014

Christmas was a BANG as always!!! WE LOVE CHRISTMAS around here... it's so much fun! Ty totally got into the season and is OBSESSED with putting up lights now... the day after Christmas he made me buy 10 more boxes since they were half off... 10!  Our boys were SOOO fun and totally into the season... the presents under the tree were torture for Parx! They both did so good to just look at them for 2 weeks but we could tell it was a struggle :).  He had a fishing pole wrapped leaning up against the wall and he was absolutely positive it was a golf club... biggest golf club we'd ever seen.. love the mind of a 5 year old!

This year was the first Christmas we have been totally away from our family.. it was strange but I love my little family and we had a blast together.  On Christmas Eve we played on the iced over lake...hung out with some of our friends and ate good food and played games.. opened our Christmas jammies... drove around looking at all the lights and left santa and his reindeer some treats for when he came to drop off the presents.

Christmas morning we woke up and found that santa had definitely hit our house...  the boys made the good list (it was close though with all the fighting... i'm not exaggerating this constant arguing people).  We made our first prime rib and took it over to our friends, the Cranstons, where we had Christmas dinner with them and the missionaries. I can't say enough about how grateful we are for our friends when we are so far away from family... Moses Lake is awesome because of them!

It's depressing to think Christmas is another whole year away.. each year our kids get more into celebrating holidays and it makes it that much more fun.  They are understanding the meaning behind all of the celebrations and I think that's what excites me the most!

Our campfire when we set up the Christmas tree...

The first time Bridger met Santa this year HE HATED HIM.. wouldn't go near him... but the second Santa had candy and it made all the difference ;)

I know I look like a beached whale...but its baby time!! Ty told me my face was officially getting fat which means Max needs to come ASAP.. I appreciate his honesty!!

Christmas Jammies

oh ya.. believe your eyes-this happened! Notice our faces though... Ty is such a sweetheart and kept my childhood tradition on Christmas Eve alive!! He looks more miserable than he actually was.. I only know that because he played it TWICE :)

CHRISTMAS MORNING!!! The boys reading the Christmas story before seeing their presents..

Only one meltdown over a toy.. haha poor kid! He thought he needed a skateboard like Parx BBBAADDDD

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE JOHNSTONS!!!!
