Memorial with the CAMBOS

Memorial weekend was SOOO MUCH FUN!! The Camberlangos spent the long weekend at our house and it was so awesome... I dunno who loved it more- ty and me or the kiddos!  We got two late night game nights in... a round of golf with no kids... and LOTS OF FUN WITH THE KIDS! Ty and chase tried a few times times to go carp huntin but came home empty handed.. better luck next time boys!

Two captured highlights.. the Memorial parade and the sand dunes :)

They are closet lovers... 4 kiddy chairs and 5  kids didn't go over very well at the beginning :) they worked it out!

THE WHOLE CREW... plus some randoms to the left

I love these two... such awesome boys! Might I add... HANDSOME boys! I love listening to Bridger call him "BROTHER".... "Watch this Brother"... "Where are you Brother"... the Brother's never end!

wish I could have photo shopped my face right out of this pic... I look like a nut.
Bridge cried like this everytime horses went by and the kids were standing up! It was sooo sad and sooo cute! He just kept yelling, "sit down, sit down, sit down" to all the kids cuz he thought they were gonna get trampled. What a little lover boy!

THE SAND DUNES... Tradition with the Cambo crew... after loooonnngggg baths they still had sand in their hair and ears but totally worth the fun and we WORE THEM OUT!!! BOO YA!

SEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! They are lovers! Caught on camera!

WE HATE THAT THE FUN HAD TO END... BRIDGE KEEPS ASKING, "WHERE'S CHASE, WHERE'S MYA?" I DUNNO WHY HE PICKED THOSE TWO BUT HE IS CONCERNED ABOUT SOMETHING! LOVE YOU CAMBOS! Thanks for the fantastic weekend :)

Playin catch up...

What have we been up to???? Mostly just LOVING the SUN!!!!! The boys are lovin being outside almost all day... and i'm loving all the walks we've been takin :)  Parx and Bridger are scooter freaks right now... they would scooter around the neighborhood all day if I let them... Grandma Kathy didn't know the nickname "SCOOTER" would be so fitting when she gave it to them at 1 day old.  Anyway.. LIFE IS GOOD.. SOO GOOD! Here are some updates on what's been goin down in Moses lately...

I signed up for the gleaning group here a few months ago and the first thing we got was carrots... ALOT of carrots.  ALOT of real dirty carrots. We had to chuck those suckers in the back yard and hose them down FOREVER! We dehydrated tons of carrots.. pickled some carrots...froze carrots... made carrot pancakes... just ate some normal carrot sticks... cooked with carrots.. mainly, we got sick of carrots!

After Carrots we got 40 lbs of asparagus... we pickled/canned that.. froze some... and just ate most of it (no pics). We love learning new things to do with produce in the summer... might be one of my favorite parts of the summer!  I'm determined to get good at this stuff!

My favorite part was having this little helper by my side!

Daddy got parx help building some stuff for the garden...Parx LOVES the drill.. This project took waaayyy longer than it should of with his help but dad was so patient and I loved watching them work together!

It was 90 degrees one week.... ya only one week- long enough to give us a good tease :)
In one day we played with three different sprinklers... thanks GRANDMA KATHY!!! They had so much fun!
These boys are crazy on the tramp and notice we still don't have a net up... one day maybe! And parx landed on the tramp in this pic... it looks like he flying off!

Spring Fest weekend brought to town a sweet carnival... and Bridge rode and LOVED rides for the first time.. ear to ear smiles the entire night! Parx LOVES them too and i'm still wondering why I didn't take any pics of him... hmm sorry P man!

Ty got stuck riding the rides with the kids and was such a trooper.. we both HATE the kiddy rides that twirl you around and by the end of the night he wasn't feelin so hot but he and Parx got a little crazy and went on some big flippy ones that I think pushed him over the edge :) Sorry babe.. look forward to it for the next 15 years!

LAST but not least... Parx and Bridge were in the bath tonight and I looked out the window and it was pouring rain!!!! I couldn't help it... I asked him if he wanted to jump outta the tub and play in the rain and of course he did.. the kid lives for spontaneous fun!! And for me it was the perfect time... naked-no drenched clothes... bath already full of soapy water means easy clean-up and
warm-up! Bridge chickened out.. he kept saying, "No, raining."

Parx got in and out of the bath about 4 times to play outside :) by the forth time it wasn't raining but the tramp was still soaked!

vacation/wedding/other stuff....

Little sister Kylee got married last week so we spent Monday-Sunday in Boise!! I'm sooo sad I won't have pics of the wedding until her photographer posts some.. what a loser sister I am to forget my camera on the big day! She was the most beautiful bride and we are so happy for the newly weds! Ky's wedding meant spending good quality time with lots of extended family.. it was sooo much fun.  It was a much needed reunion since we don't get to see them much anymore.

Most of the week was surrounded with last minute cleaning, dress rehearsal/rehearsal dinner, makeovers, and of course the MAIN EVENT-KY and TY'S WEDDING! I still got to do a couple fun things... I played on Chase and Cort's softball team-always fun, went to jump time with Cort and let the kids play and get totally wore out, went on a shopping spree, had a family BBQ, park play date, and managed to squeeze in a fishing trip with papa- I LOVE SPENDING TIME WITH MY DAD!!!! (and mom of course!)

Here are some pics of our trip down the Boise River... we caught 10 fish in like 2.5 hours- I'd say that's a success... mostly dinks but we did catch a massive sucker that we didn't take a pic of... Parx thought it was cool though! And Parx got to reel in EVERY SINGLE fish mostly by himself! He handled the little ones like a champ... he'd pull so hard they'd swing outta the water and just about hit us in the face! He is still all about the worms... so happy he's finally old enough to rip those suckers in half for me... I don't mind putting worms on the hook but ripping them in half kinda sorda grosses me out... I still had to do a few when he was busy playin in the mud :)

This one came flying at dad's face! haha fishing with a 4 year old is AWESOME!
(and check out dad's face- pure focus!)

Parx is such a go getter that this pic just makes me smile... just chillin, lookin at the water with his worms in hand!

That smile says it all... I love it... and I love the mud/blood all over their fingers.. true fisherman!

Helping Parx hold up the rod as he reals in the biggest Rainbow of the night (still not huge.. but a fighter)

My favorite pics of dad and Parx from this trip.. so stinkin cute!!

The fish with the "cut"... this was a BIG DEAL

Proof that I was really on the fishing trip... and hooked 6 of the fish :) That's right.. I beat dad! Sometimes a girls gotta brag- especially since this is a miracle!

I thought this was too cute.. two of my favorite guys!

working hard in the garden...

Why not?!?! We came into the room to this after their bath the other night!

Parx lays his clothes out like this... cracks me up.. everything's in the right place!

We straightened Bridger's hair one day.. best pic we could get!

And then we finallllllllly cut this boys 4 inch long hair!!! Ky wanted us to grow it out for the wedding so we did... and now its gone! Annnnnd yes i did give my very first haircut haha it was interesting!

MY FAVORITE PIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are just too cute
