Last week of school...

Parx played the piano at the talent show again this year and killed it. Both boys got shirts for Junior Joggers for running a certain amount of miles and Parx won again for his grade and brought home the trophy.
Parx got straight A's and Bridger did really good in school as well.  Bridge was right on track or above in everything.  Good job munchkins! On the last day of school we picked the kiddos up and took them to get ice cream and go fishing.
On to 4th and 2nd grade for these 2.

Paint party

We drove to Boise for a weekend so Ty could help ky and tyler paint their house.  While the guys were working we were playing.  We swam, played with cousins, went to the park, and grandma and papa Johnston took the boys and me to this fun zoo like place!

Then on the way home our car died in the middle of nowhere and we were stuck on the side of the road for 2 hours.  Luckily, we have bomb family and friends that came to our rescue.  My parents picked us up outside of Ontario and drove us to Pendleton, OR.  Our buddy, Sean, picked us up in Pendleton and off we went!
Tender Mercies: Max slept through the entire brake down, the AC worked, we had a DVD player, and it ended up not being the transmission!

Rain gutter regatta

Parx lives for stuff like this. Building something of his own and then testing out how well it works.
He won a couple and lost a couple so I think he was happy.

dentist and church talk

Finally took the 2 littles to the dentist.  Only took me 4 years to make the appointment for Max. Oops! I wasn't actually taking Preston but he jumped in the chair for a sec anyway. No cavities though so it was all good!

Max man gave his first talk in primary a few months ago! They grow up right before your eyes when they stand behind that pulpit.

Preschool graduate

1st year of preschool in the books.  Max grew so much during this year! He is in love with his teacher and gives her new "art work" at almost every class.

Memorial Weekend

Memorial weekend was a good time.  The boys both played in a 3 on 3 tourney which was so fun to watch.  Bridger's team made it really far and P was 2 and out.  P mans team went against giant sized older people. We also went to the parade and fished at the hatchery.
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit too!

More baseball

These dudes took first place.  They went undefeated and won a pizza party and trophies! Parx was given the MVP award for always working hard and having a positive attitude.  And the kid got pretty darn good at pitching! He practiced with me almost daily and improved sooo much.  Proud of you little fella.

And Bridger with his buds after their last game.

Terrific Tiger

I'm playing catch up... lots of catch up.  Back to the end of last school year.

Bridger was DYYINNNGGG for this award all year.  I was holding my breathe at the last assembly that his teacher would choose him for the "terrific tiger" award. Thankful she did! And this boy earned it. He is such a great kid... at school. And at home most of the time (when it doesn't take him 30 minutes to get his PJ's on, or walk out the door without his backpack every. single. morning.).
