Fall 2012 RANDOMNESS

Here are some pics of our favorite orchard!! I love taking the kids to pick their own fruit and see where it comes from... Parx loves everything about picking fruit and the freedom of a huge orchard full of trees and grass!  He is sure an adventurous little fart! We also picked raspberries and blackberries this year too for jam!

This is my good friend Annette and owner of the orchard where we get all our fruit from!!! She was the first person i met in this town and I'm soo lucky to have her friendship! She looks like a natural up there huh?!?  Seriously.. this lady can pick some fruit! She picks like 10 times what i pick in the same amount of time!

Of course P man wanted some ladder time too :)

The new orchard kitty... it really is the cutest cat ever! Animals like Parx for about 2 seconds.. he loves on them way to much! Bridger is just as obsessed with animals... loves loves loves dogs!

These pics make me realize my little Bridger is just WAY TO BIG!!! He is a champion climber and his favorite spot is the bathroom :) climbs right into the sink whenever he notices the door open! And this is how... I didn't let him get as far as sitting the sink and drenching his clothes this time! oh and PS this first pic has got to be one of my all time favorites... HE IS SOOOO CUTE!

And this Big guy is growing up way to fast too!!!!! He was just sittin at the comp writing his daddy a "note" haha he is very very creative (and destructive)!!!!!! LOVE HIM!

Parx Pre-school!

Parx started preschool this week! He did "homework" all morning getting ready for his first day... He wants to go to a real elementary school soooo bad! Since Parx birthday falls in December he misses the cutoff for school next year- so we have two years before school starts for this big guy!  My friend Jennifer and I decided to do a home preschool for our kiddos once a week this year and are alternating houses.  They enjoyed school but were definitely anxious to get into the back yard and build an ant house haha cracks me up!   

Just FYI: Parx caught probably 20 bees yesterday... freaks me out!!

ON OUR WAY TO PRESCHOOL...

PRESCHOOL ACTIVITY... HEIGHT: 43", WEIGHT: 42 LBS, FAVORITE FOOD: HOTDOGS, CHICKEN NUGGETS AND POPSICLES, AND FAVORITE TOY: MY T-REX DINOSAUR! HE PRETTY MUCH NAILED IT WITH ALL HIS FAVORITES :)

HIS FIRST SCHOOL WORK.. I LOVE LITTLE KID HANDWRITING!! HE CAN WRITE HIS NAME NOW AND IT CRACKS ME UP HOW HUGE ONE LETTER CAN BE AND THEN THE NEXT IS SO TINY I CAN HARDLY READ IT!

Summer/Moses Lake, WA 2012 FUNNN!!!

My camera hooks up to my computer again!!!!!!!!!!! You have no idea how much this excites me!!!! This summer has definitely been one to remember... Lots of great memories and good times! First, here are a few videos of my cute boys.. Parx riding his 2 wheeler like a machine and just a little video of Bridger babbling and running around (finally starting walking at 13.5 months).  They might not be that cool to you but feel free

We took the boys to the Fair this year and had a BLAST! Parx loves rides way to much and is such a dare devil! Bridge, well he thought his one and only ride was alright :)

My little Bridger got his first haircut! Check out that hair though.. I think it was time haha! 

Our next adventure has been learning how to can! Check out this nice setup we got from amazon.. lookin good eh?!? haha we have had a blast doing it.. and by the end should have 50 quarts of pears/peaches and we did 20 pints of raspberry/blackberry jams!  We are also doing some applesauce with my sweet new applesauce maker comin this week from amazon as well! THANK YOU TO ANNETTE AND MARK POTH FOR THE BUNCHES AND BUNCHES OF FRUIT FROM YOUR ORCHARD!!!!!!!!!

May not seem like much to you canners out there but for the Johnston's we are mega PROUD of OURSELVES!! To be honest it's so much fun doing it together and i love that ty is so into it! We look forward to doing it much much more.

The boys played fake "canning" on the kitchen floor while we did the real stuff one night! It was pretty funny and a total disaster.  It doesn't look as messy as it really was.. clear plastic spoons EVERYWHERE! But whatever they had fun too!

Alright i thought i should post some pics of Parx best friends here in Moses Lake since we know this is only a temporary home for us! By temporary that could mean 5 years haha but who knows!

This is Hayden Wells... the friend we randomly met at the park and are SO glad we did!!! Parx and Hayden start Preschool together this week (oh ya, just the 2 of them)!

This is Ethan and Ali.. our ward friends!! we love them too so very much! For some reason little bro Ben is missing so i still need a pic of him!

Just a few random pics of the boys TOGETHER... FORT time and popcorn.. ends in a huge mess everytime but it's one of Parx's fav. things!

If you didn't believe that we actually had a few peaceful moments like this at our house then this is the proof!!! It's a rare occasion but it does happen! 

AND LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST... MY HUSBAND AND I CELEBRATED 5 AMAZING YEARS TOGETHER ON JUNE 30TH.. 2 BABIES LATER AND STILL THE HAPPIEST COUPLE THERE EVER WAS!!! I LOVE MY HUSBAND SOOO MUCH... NO WAY ON EARTH I COULD MOVE TO OREGON AND WASHINGTON IN A FOUR MONTH SPAN WITHOUT THIS MAN BY MY SIDE!! WE TRULY CAN BE HAPPY WHEREVER WE GO (WITHIN REASON PEOPLE) AS LONG AS WE HAVE EACH OTHER!!! I LOVE EVERY MOMENT I SPEND WITH MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND AND DADDY! CHEERS TO 5 YEARS BABE... YEE HAW!
