Easter/ Max 3 month pics

Easter weekend is always super fun and extra busy!  This year mom and dad came to help us get the inside of the house painted and celebrate.  We did 2 hunts on Sat morning and the kids got enough candy to last a few months... that is if Ty and I can stay out of it.  The Easter bunny hid the kiddos baskets Sunday morning and had them go on an Easter egg scavenger hunt! Parx got a beach towel, swim suit and book; Bridge got a beach towel, flip flops and book; and the baby got a sun hat and book :)! And of course more candy and a few dollar bills. And grandma hid some "fishing boots" (really rain boots) full of candy and bubble swords too! Life was good at the Johnston house. We tried to explain the reason we celebrate Easter a few too many times I guess since by Easter Sunday Parx was not interested at all and said, "I don't have to listen, I already know all of this."  But even if we've heard it a million times its still nice to think and talk about our Savior's Resurrection and remember that because of him we can be an eternal family forever.

Pics from the weekend...
Parx: 5 years and 4 months
Bridge: 2 years and 10 months
Max: 3 months

off to church :) and here's a pic of our new house!!!!!

Max at 3 months
Loves to smile at almost anybody
Is awake for an hour and half at a time and is super happy
Takes a bunch of 45 min to 1 hour naps and then one 2.5-3 hour one
He goes down for a nap best if I rock him with a faucet on full blast
90 % of the time he wakes up once a night... randomly throws me a curve ball and gets up twice and then i feel like death.
Spits up like a champ
Hasn't taken a bink since he was 6 weeks old... decided he didn't like them
Still loves bath time
Loves kickin around with no pants on
Has found his hands and sucks on them all the time... or will attack his blankie to suck on that

This is what happens when you put max ANYWHERE without a burp rag under his head...

whoops.. my bad
