1st, Parx wanted to go fishing at the Rocky Ford with his buddies, Matthew and River and Papa Sid for his birthday. River was out of town but we snagged Matthew for almost an entire day of fun! They had so much fun exploring and the fishing wasn't great but they loved running crazy with no supervision :). Bonus was that Papa was in town for his basketball games so he actually got to come!
We fished until it was pitch black out and headed back to our house for Pizza and cookies (his request). Our friends came over and brought Family Feud, which he lovvvves and we played that for a while. After all the fun and games died down we took his buddy home.
His 2nd birthday bash was over Thanksgiving break at Grandma and Papas house! All of the Boise family came and celebrated. We ate cake/ice cream and opened presents. He made a haul and LOVED his gifts!
annnnnnnd finally, his 3rd birthday celebration was at home on his actual bday! He requested chili and I gave my best attempt at a basketball cake. We had some neighbor friends over and he was spoiled again!! He opened Golden State Warrior tickets from Ty and I and he was so excited... February 14th is the big game vs Portland in Portland.
Sheesh next year we are toning it down FOR SURE.
This boy melts me. He is so determined to do and be good. Parx is such a blessing and makes this family better in so many ways.
Some fun facts about ol' parx: He is ridiculously smart, always wants to be involved in adult conversations (drives us bananas), loves sports and is loving finally being on an organized basketball team, loves reading and getting new books, fishing is always on his brain, he loves asking siri random questions, just finished a lego jungle and thinks he will win a trip to Costa Rica :), holidays are so special to him, Santa is the bomb, still loves his lizard, obsessed with Steph Curry and pretty much all of the Golden State Warriors, parx and ty decided that the Green Bay Packers are their team now, and still plays the piano (he's good too)!
Side note.. he's still crazy tall and wears size 12 in a lot of things.
