Preschool Boy

We bit the bullet and decided Parx needed preschool this year!! I got sooo nervous thinking that (depending on which school he goes to) he could be an ALL DAY kindergartener next year... I feel like that's such a huge jump in a little guys life! WITH THAT SAID.. this kid can handle it all.. he's so spunky and has no fear!! He was soo ready for school and has loved every minute of it.  As for his mommy, I'm loving seeing all his school work and hearing him talk about the fun things he does at school.

Bridge misses his bro when he's gone but has done much better than I thought he would too... and of course he puts Parx's backpack on and pretends he's going to preschool rather often :)

 

 

Parx is such an awesome boy! We are so proud of our big man...seriously we can't believe how big he is getting!

SHOCKING that he wants to be a FISHERMAN when he grows up??

But really the sad things is... HE IS GROWING UP ON US!! 

 

Just a little about our boy...

 

 Parx has become such a helper and loves being able to make decisions.  He is also a very loving big brother-- don't get me wrong there are many many arguments at this house but when bridge gets hurt or picked on Parx gets very protective. 

 

 He just started soccer again and can't wait to play in the "tournaments"... he says, "mom, I don't want to call them games.. this time they are tournaments, ok?" OK PARX.. GO COBRAS! He's one of the youngest kids on the team but also one of the tallest! He is in size 6 clothes and has been for awhile now... he's a giant!

 

He recently learned how to whistle... he's getting pretty good! I couldn't whistle till I was in high school!! Ty gets SOOOO annoyed cuz HE NEVER STOPS!! I just laugh because seriously how mad can you get at a kid for whistling??

 

He loves bike and scooter rides, going across the street catching grasshoppers, digging for worms, golfing, fishing, legos, coloring, playing with friends, and the list goes on! This summer he has been trying so hard to learn to swim but its been tough for him... he can swim like four feet before totally drowning...  its a great effort :).

 

WE LOVE YOU PARX... HAVE A GREAT YEAR!!!!
